Front Desk Registration Position

Montgomery Eye Physicians seeks ideal candidate for front desk registration in Patient Relations Department. This position serves as a patient advocate and represents MEP to our patients.

Job Qualifications: Superior communications skills and good rapport with the public. Previous medical office and computer entry experience essential. Knowledge of insurance procedures is essential. Centricity Practice Management system experience a plus.

Job Responsibilities: Greeting patients at check in while obtaining necessary information in order to create/maintain files for billing/insurance. Fluency and accuracy of data entry is critical to this position. Other office duties as required by position.

The successful candidate must demonstrate a proven track record in the above areas along with previous experience in customer service. Must be articulate, present well and be able to communicate effectively with supervisor, physicians and staff.

Montgomery Eye Physicians seeks ideal candidate for scheduler in our Records/Scheduling Department. This position serves as the first line of communication and represents MEP to our patients. 

Job Qualifications: Superior communications, organizational and interpersonal skills required. Must be able to establish good phone rapport. This is a fast paced environment and the ideal candidate will be required handle a high volume of calls with accuracy. Applicant should be articulate and able to communicate effectively with supervisor, physicians and staff.  Previous medical office and computer entry experience essential. Centricity Practice Management system experience a plus.  Microsoft Word and Outlook.  Applicant must possess high school diploma or equivalent.

Requires the ability to efficiently answer high volume of calls, schedule patient appointments, document messages and process the calls appropriately. Fluency and accuracy of data entry is critical to this position.
